Which cookies this website uses
Cookies are small files that some websites store in your browser. symbole.es only uses one first-party, technical cookie, and only if you choose a language with the ES / EN switch:

This cookie is exempt from consent, because it is only set when you explicitly ask for a language and it is needed to provide that service (article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI and the Spanish Data Protection Agency’s guide on the use of cookies). That is why we don’t show a cookie notice or banner. We don’t use analytics, advertising or social media cookies, either our own or third-party ones (except SoundCloud’s if you choose to listen to a set and Weeztix’s if you open its ticket shop, as explained below).
You can delete it at any time in your browser settings; the website will keep working the same way and will choose the language automatically again.
Automatic language
If you haven’t chosen a language, when you open the home page we show you the Spanish or English version based on the country you are connecting from (worked out from your IP address) and your browser’s language. This doesn’t set any cookie and we don’t store that information.
Visitor statistics
We measure visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t identify visitors and doesn’t track them across websites. We only get aggregate figures, such as how many people visit the website or how many click the “Tickets” button for each event.
Fonts, photos and videos
They are served from this website itself, without connecting to external services such as Google Fonts or YouTube, which could set their own cookies.
SoundCloud player
In the “Listen” section of the home page you can play our sets. When you open the website you only see our own version of the player, served from symbole.es, which doesn’t connect to SoundCloud or set any cookie.
The official SoundCloud player only loads if you press the play button (▶), as stated next to the button (“Playing loads SoundCloud”). From that moment your browser connects to SoundCloud Global Limited & Co. KG, which receives technical data such as your IP address and may set its own cookies (for example, to make the player work, remember your preferences or measure plays). Those cookies belong to SoundCloud and are not controlled by us: please check its cookie policyand privacy policy. If you don’t press play, nothing from SoundCloud is loaded.
Weeztix ticket shop
For some events you can buy tickets without leaving the website: pressing “Tickets” opens a window with the Weeztix ticket shop. The shop only loads when you press the button; until then the website doesn’t connect to Weeztix and none of its cookies are set.
Once you open it, your browser connects to Weeztix B.V., which receives technical data such as your IP address and uses its own cookies and similar technologies to make the shop work, for example to keep your basket and complete the payment. Those cookies belong to Weeztix and are not controlled by us, and the purchase and your data are governed by its terms: please check itsprivacy and cookie policy. If you don’t open the shop, nothing from Weeztix is loaded.

If you follow a link to another website (for example, Instagram, SoundCloud, Weeztix or Resident Advisor), that website may use its own cookies. Please check its cookie policy.
