2. What data we process
This website has no forms, doesn’t let you register and only uses one technical cookie to remember the language you choose (see the cookie policy). The only personal data we process is what you give us when you email us: your email address, your name if you include it and whatever you tell us in your message.
To show you the home page in your language, we automatically use the approximate country you are connecting from (worked out from your IP address by our hosting provider) and your browser’s language. This information is only used at that moment and we don’t store it.
3. What we use it for
Only to read and reply to your message and, where relevant, handle what you ask us for. We don’t use it to send you advertising or to build profiles.
4. Legal basis
Your consent, which you give by voluntarily writing to us (article 6.1.a GDPR). If your message relates to a contractual or pre-contractual relationship with you (for example, a collaboration), the legal basis is also the performance of that relationship (article 6.1.b GDPR).
5. How long we keep it
For as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. After that, we keep it blocked only for the periods during which legal liabilities could arise, and then we delete it. You can ask us to delete it earlier at any time.
6. Who we share it with
We don’t share your data with third parties, unless required by law. To operate, the website and email rely on providers acting as data processors, under contract and with safeguards in line with the GDPR:
- Web hosting: Vercel Inc. (United States). To show you the website, its servers process technical connection data, such as your IP address. Vercel participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as ensuring an adequate level of protection (article 45 GDPR).
- Email: the provider of the email service for symbole.es.
Fonts, photos and videos are served from this website itself, without connecting to third-party services such as Google Fonts.
7. Your rights
You can exercise your rights at any time to:
- Access: find out what data of yours we process.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure: ask us to delete it.
- Object to and restrict processing.
- Portability: receive your data in a commonly used format.
- Withdraw your consent, without affecting any processing carried out before.
To do so, email us at info@symbole.es stating which right you wish to exercise. If we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we may ask for additional information to confirm it. We will reply within one month at the latest.
8. Complaints to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD)
If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es, C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, Spain).
9. Tickets and external websites
When you buy tickets on Weeztix, Resident Advisor or another platform, or visit our social media, those services process your data according to their own privacy policies.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example if we add new features to the website. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
